From Heather Pippen, Executive Director

It is with great privilege that I have the opportunity to share with you information about myself and our two communities in Lynchburg for assisted living and memory care. As the Executive Director and Administrator of the Lynchburg Heritage Green Assisted Living Communities since 2001, I am proud to work with such wonderful residents and caring staff.

One of our missions at Heritage Green is to "Honor Thy Father and Mother" and in so doing, we strive to provide the best possible care to our residents in all areas including clinical care dining services, life enrichment, housekeeping and laundry, and more. At Heritage Green, we also set about to "Grow a Tradition of Care" and continue to live by that motto daily as a driving force in our operations.

I have worked in long term care since 1992 and found this to be my life's mission and that fits me perfectly. My day is challenging and varied, with many rewards as I lead our communities in the path of excellence. You might find me dressed up for a talent show, taping a TV segment for "Living in the Heart of Virginia," speaking with residents and family members, leading a staff training, reviewing regulatory compliance, or writing a policy manual. My door is always open to the people we are here for, our residents, families, staff, and other customers.
