Heather Pippen
Heather Pippen has been with Heritage Green since 2001. As the Executive Director, she oversees the overall operations of the two communities including ensuring excellence in care and services, customer satisfaction, public awareness, community involvement, fiscal soundness, regulatory compliance, and more. Heather also enjoys sharing her creativity with the residents when she dresses as a clown or entertains in talent shows at the facility. She also enjoys bringing son every other month to visit residents on Saturday. For more, please see "From the Executive Director."

Bryan Stone
Bryan Stone, Clinical Care Director, combines his educational background, business experience, and nursing skills in coordinating the best care possible for the residents of Heritage Green. He is married and has two daughters. He is a Master swimmer, enjoys people, and never meets a stranger.

Faith Peak
Faith Peak, RN, DayBreak’s Clinical Care Director has over 30 years of long-term care experience. She grew up in Rustburg and attended Nursing School at Lynchburg General Hospital. Rosalyn Hamrick CDP
Rosalyn Hamrick, Admissions Counselor and Community Outreach Director, brings with her 32 years of nursing experience, most of which is in geriatrics. Her personal goals is to work along side the Clinical Care Directors in providing excellent care of our residents. While doing so, she'll give some smiles away and hopes to receive some in return. On a personal note, she resides in Bedford Co, with her husband of 35 years. They have 3 grown sons and 2 grandchildren. Roz attends Blue Ridge Community Church and has a love for gardening.

Dwayne Slaughter
Dwayne Slaughter, Environmental Services Director, worked at Heritage Green for three years before moving to Costa Rica to manage a real estate business. Dwayne has returned to the area and brings 15 years of environmental services experiences and a prior knowledge of our campus and systems. Daniel Wisby
Daniel Wisby, Dining Services Director, learned his trade in the Culinary Arts program in the Army, where he served for 4 ½ years, including two tours in Iraq. Following this experience, he worked at Liberty University where he supervised a team of 40 in three varying dining areas and programs. Daniel has a wife and two children and is also in the Army National Guard as well as working on a Master’s degree from LU. Tina Scott
This is Tina Scott, Assistant Dining Services Director, who oversees Dining Services as a nutritionist and head chef, as well as Housekeeping and Laundry Services for Heritage Green Lynchburg. Tina has been a member of the Leadership Team since 2003. She enjoys spoiling residents and staff with her home-cooked creations and creative menus as well as cooking demonstrations, theme parties, and chef of the month meals.

Melody Thomas
Melody Thomas, Business Office Director, oversees the daily functions of the business office including Accounts Payable / Receivable, Human Resources, and Payroll. Melody is really enjoying participation in all of the events here at the Community. Melody comes to Heritage Green from an Assistant Executive Director position for a Memory Care Facility in Roanoke. She is married, has one daughter and one grandson. Melody and her husband have devoted over 25 years to rescuing and placing abused and abandoned animals.

Clarissa Chapman
Clarissa Chapman,“Coco” as she is known, DayBreak's Life Enrichment Director, is a Lynchburg native who has worked at Heritage Green since 2007. Her many outside interests and love for the residents make her successful in her position. She has three grown children, David, Warren, and Heaven. Coco enjoys cooking, reading, sightseeing, outdoor activities and her dog Jake. In addition to directing the DayBreak Life Enrichment Program, Coco also schedules the van and driver for all resident doctor appointments and outings. cchapman@heritagegreenal.com |

Julie Lerner
Julie Lerner, Heritage Green's Life Enrichment Director, moved to Lynchburg in June 2010 and is really settled into her new hometown! Prior to that she grew up in Tennessee, lived in Chicago, New York, Minnesota and Wisconsin. Having worked in senior activities programming since 1991 in various settings, she joined the team in 2011 at Heritage Green and looks forward to getting to know all of our residents and staff. Julie spends her free time with her dogs, Molly, Buddy, Scooby and Punkin'.
