Respite Care

When space is available, Heritage Green Communities offer support to families in its surrounding communities with residential care for a night, a weekend or more.

There are many reasons for respite care:

Post Hospital Stay: Many patients worry how they will manage and cope along, not wanting to place a burden on their family, and how to deal with emergency situations. We can provide a safe, comfortable, professional setting within an optimal residential environments for healing and recovery.

Short Term Need: 24-hour personal care precipitated by a fall or other accident.

Weekend Break or Longer Vacation: for a caregiver or caregiving family.

Trial Basis: Experience Assisted Living on a trial basis prior to making a long-term commitment.

Our respite care program includes:

• 24-hour staffing and assistance with daily routines of bathing, dressing and grooming.
• 24-hour emergency call system
• On-site beauty/barber shop
• Laundry and housekeeping services
• Three delicious and nutritious meals. Special diets available
• Nutritious snacks are always available
• Private bathroom in each accommodation
