Heritage Green Assisted Living Communities

Testimonials

"We were looking for a facility that would focus on Mom's specific needs. Vicki took us through the educational process thoroughly. Mom entered the facility in April 2003. Since then she has felt like it is her home and the caregivers treat her like family. Heritage Green has allowed my mother to live in ‘her world'."

"We love the facility and have been very impressed with the employees. All of Mom's visitors have nothing but positive things to say. Our family has no regrets about our decision to bring our Mother here."

"I am writing regarding my father, Dr. Stuart Jackson, who is a resident of Madison. I want to write and let you know how much we appreciate your staff with everything they are doing for our father. I am so impressed with all you guys have done for him. He had such a rocky start at the other facility and the difference in him now is amazing. While Wanda is so gracious in awarding the accolades to Dr. Betz, we feel it is her and her staff that deserves the credit. Everyone is so professional, yet kind and caring, and show a real interest in our father. Every time we take him out, he always thanks us for "finding him such a nice apartment with all those nice people." Knowing he feels at home there has taken such a burden off all of us, his children from Florida, Virginia and Canada. While this is such a small token of our appreciation, I wonder what we can do to show the staff how much we appreciate them. I would appreciate any suggestions. Again, please thank all the staff and let them know we do notice the good things they do."

"I'm very happy here."

"Harry and I would like to thank each of you from the bottom on our hearts for the care you gave his mother, Jenny. It was difficult to take her from her home of 57 years and leave her at Heritage Green. Those of you there that day helped make the transition as smooth as possible. I think there were times she thought you were "her children" because you cared for her, talked with her, laughed with her, and even brought those "midnight snacks" to her."

-- Linda and Harry Thacker

"I cared for my Mom at home for 13 years. This is the most relaxed and comfortable environment that she has been in during the past 5 years. The activities and programs here are therapeutic and helpful. She now has surrounding that she feels are familiar. The caregivers are wonderful and cater to her every need. "I spoiled her rotten but I think the caregivers are spoiling her more." I definitely made the right choice placing her here."

"It's real nice and comfortable. It's also very clean. The employees are so nice and they do everything they can to help you. At night it is so quiet that I can sleep without interruptions. I would recommend it to everyone."

"Our sincerest thanks to Heritage and the Daybreak staff for the exceptional service you provide.

Too many assistance facilities fall short of not only our expectations but their own responsibilities. Daybreak has exceeded these with their professional and caring staff.

Heritage has accomplished the impossible, combining full service, medical monitoring, attentive assistance, and affordability.

Thank you so much for the care you give to all your residents at Daybreak and the relief it gives their families."

"It's always fun to receive an unexpected gift. Thank you so very much.Heritage Green,Jefferson Hall and your staff have taught me very much about my relationship to their patients. Pity-Compassion-love.The pity I first felt has turned to compassion. And that compassion turns to love. Now, I understand why such dedicated people can do this work day in and day out. They learn to love their patients. And I thank you all for being so loving to my husband, Carl."

-- Esther Licht

"My wife and I take full time care of my Mother at home. From time to time, we must travel, which is no longer practical for Florence. We searched for a long time for a safe and caring place to leave Mom, while we are away. We found Heritage Green, are we are so glad that we did. Heritage Green takes good care of Florence whenever we must be away. We feel good in knowing that she is in safe, good and caring hands. It makes it easier for us to leave. Heritage Green has many activities to keep Florence busy, and each time she visits, she makes and remakes new friends. It's never easy to rely on strangers to take care of a loved one, but at Heritage Green we have come to trust the staff with the care of our loved one."

-- Bob and Diane Class

"Both residents and employees are very friendly. It's a pleasant place to be in."

-- Marcia Glover

"Now we know that love is indeed "GREEN." We want to thank all of you so very very much for all the help and love over the past 2 and a half years. You give gifts of love every single day. All of you hold a special place in our hearts."

"For the past five years my mother-in law, Flo Caldwell has resided with her daughter after selling her beloved home in Bedford County. That was a hard time for us all, but she made the adjustment and went about daily life.

Mary Kay Whitmore, her daughter , has been the primary caregiver for these past five years as my husband and I have a nine year old we have adopted, and who requires a lot of our time. When Mary Kay announced it was time to move Mom, our hearts broke…however, I have to say after visiting her on two occasions, if she had to be out of her “home” this is the place to be. The staff is tremendous—friendly, accommodating, efficient.

The Facility is outstanding. I feel good coming into the residence. I know she will need another time of adjusting to her new environment. I think after she does, she will appreciate this move.

Thank you for all you and your staff do for caring for our loved ones!"

-- John and Pam Caldwell

"Just a note to let you know how much I appreciate the many kind acts that your staff extend toward my Mom; Barbara Harvey. Judy Cooper is a wonderful person and exactly the right person to lead the Legacy Club. I appreciate so much the little touches she brings to the group to make them feel valued and special.

A special thanks to Patsy in Laundry who always gives mom a hug and Bob in maintenance who always stops to talk to her, and Lisa Childress, with her upbeat attitude ,always trying to keep mom active and doing things in the afternoon. I know it’s a tough job.

Many thanks, also to those who keep her well fed, bathed and dressed.Family members may not always say so, but we do appreciate all that you do."

-- Linda Cheverton

"A big thank you to you and the Heritage Green Staff members for arranging the wonderful Valentine’s Family Night event. The decorations were lovely and dinner was delicious. We enjoyed the music too. I noticed my Mom was clapping and my Dad’s toes were tapping! We truly appreciate the time and effort required by so many to provide us with a special night out to enjoy with my parents. We treasure those times together.

Thank you so much for a pleasant evening."

-- Mary Bailey

"I wanted to write and say thank you to you! Everyone was so kind & helpful. It made having Aunt Alice’s birthday party so nice. I have visited several “Assisted Living” places in the last few years and I am glad that Aunt Alice is at Heritage Green."

-- Kelly Varney

"Just a note to wish you a happy and healthy holiday season. I also want to thank you again for the care you and your staff provided my dad, Russell, for the past nine months. He is adjusting well to the Care Center and staff here in Utah. He seems to be doing pretty well. He has mentioned Hendricks several times as well as Ashley. I think he remembers their kind and loving care for him.

Say hello to all those sweet people there from me and my family and Liz & Mac & Cathy."
